Cooking caramelized apples:

Step 1: Cook the caramelized apples.

In general, apples can be used either sour or sweet. The first step is to wash them well and wipe them dry. We put on a medium heat to heat the pan, pour sugar and pour a teaspoon of lemon juice on top, mix everything thoroughly with a wooden spatula until sugar caramel is obtained. In doing so, make sure that sugar did not turn dark brownotherwise the caramel will be slightly bitter. If you see that it is getting dark, just turn down the fire. As soon as sugar turns into syrup, make less fire. We put apples on skewers and quickly dip them into caramel. Cover the plate with parchment paper and put caramel apples on it. Now they need to be refrigerated for about 1.5-2 hours until the caramel is completely frozen. On top of caramel, you can sprinkle chocolate or coconut, chopped nuts, almonds, crumbled crackers, etc. (This step must be done before putting the apples in the refrigerator).

Step 2: Serve the apples in caramel.

After about two hours, the caramel finally hardens and apples can be served on the table. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - You can not cook caramel, but buy caramel candies and melt them in a water bath (or double boiler) along with cream (2-3 tablespoons) and vanilla. True, the main thing here is not to overdo it with cream, otherwise caramel will lose its ability to stick.

- - You can also melt colorful glaze and dye apples in bright colors or draw any patterns.

- - Remember, if you want something on top of the caramel, then you do not have much time for this, about 30 seconds, since after that the caramel will already begin to solidify.

- - Also, such apples can be wrapped in cling film and taken with you to nature.

- - Experiment: you can take apples of the Chinese variety - these are small sweet and sour apples the size of a nut. You get apple and caramel lollipops.
