Steaming ducks:

Step 1: prepare the basil.

Rinse the basil under running water. Dry with a kitchen towel. We cut it with a knife on a cutting board very finely.

Step 2: marinate the duck breast.

We cut the breast with a knife on a cutting board into portioned pieces (about 2-3 pieces). Put the breast in a bowl, rub with mustard, sprinkle with pepper and basil and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Step 3: steam the duck.

We put each piece of breast on a foil, rub with salt. You can also add garlic chopped into thin slices. Wrap the foil and put in the wire for 40 minutes. A duck breast is ready if it is easily pierced with a knife.

Step 4: serve the duck for a couple.

Carefully remove the prepared pieces of duck breast on portioned plates, add a side dish, such as stewed cabbage and pour the juice that remains in the foil. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Serve duck steamed with buckwheat, potatoes, apples or celery.

- - Seasonings that are well suited to duck meat - parsley, thyme, dill. You can also add a little coriander and chopped cumin.

- - There are many different sauces that are ideal for duck meat. One of the most successful and quick cranberry sauce. It is in perfect harmony with fatty meat. To prepare it, take 350 grams of cranberries, 250 grams of orange juice, 250 grams of granulated sugar and zest from one orange. In a deep frying pan, mix the juice with sugar and bring to a boil, periodically stirring with a spoon. Add cranberries, cover and bring to a boil. Then we reduce the heat and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, spoon in the zest of orange, and the cranberry sauce is ready.
