Ingredients for Making Poppy Dessert

Cooking Poppy Dessert:

Step 1: Cook milk with poppy seeds and dissolve gelatin.

To do this, take a small pan, fill it halfway with water and put on a strong fire. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, and set a bowl of gelatin of the appropriate size on the pan. When the gelatin is full, remove the pan from the heat and briefly leave the gelatin to swell.

Step 2: Beat the egg whites to the peaks.

While our gelatin swells, we will beat the egg whites. To do this, break the egg whites into the blender bowl (you can use a mixer), add to them 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and start whipping until sharp peaks form. After that, add the remaining 8 tablespoons of sugar to the mass, whisk a little more and mix well.

Step 3: Prepare the poppy seed mixture for dessert.

Now combine sour cream with cream, mix thoroughly. Gently inject the swollen gelatin, while trying to stir the mixture all the time. Next, enter poppy seeds with milk and whipped squirrels. Put the prepared mixture in baking tins and place refrigerate until thickened, about for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Prepare the dessert sauce.

While the poppy hearts will cool, we will begin to prepare the sauce. To do this, thoroughly rinse the dried apricots under cold running water, then place it in a small saucepan, pour 100-150 ml of water and put on medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat slightly, add granulated sugar and cranberry syrup, mix and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, cool the sauce slightly, and then chop it in a blender. The sauce is ready.

Step 5: Serve the poppy seed dessert.

Take the finished dessert out of the refrigerator, carefully remove it from the tins and transfer to serving dessert plates. Pour the cooked poppy mousse with apricot sauce on top and serve dessert to a romantic or ordinary dining table! Good appetite!
